To protect the common man from hitting that fine line too harshly, Chevy has just introduced the “No dorifto” inflatable restraint system into its new Camaros. It protects the driver and passengers from that dastardly asphalt ocean that they are adrift in. Air bags: Can’t win with them, can’t win without them. Tony – “What happens when you toss a V8 in the back of your Jeep?”

It shows a BMW 1M sliding “through” concrete walls. Naturally everybody on the interwebs is questioning if they were real or not. Honestly, even if they were styrofoam, the video would still be crazy impressive. Considering the video is called “BMW 1M – Walls – MPowered Performance Part 1″, I’d guess that we will all have the pleasure of a part 2 as well. Enjoy!

A friend of mine named Ethan drove several hours to attend this event and luckily for us, he took about 1 million pictures while he was there. From the looks of it, swapping new LSx V8′s into the small rear wheel drive imports seems to be a growing trend. If you have ever had the pleasure of burying your foot into the go-pedal of a newer Corvette, you can understand why. The sounds coming from these vehicles drifting around the track must have been music to the ears. I really need to get myself to one of these events….
