In a world of exotics, yellow has a place of its own. To me nothing screams “I’m here” like a bright yellow exotic sports car. If I were ever in a position to buy an exotic, it would without a doubt, have to be yellow.
Why yellow you ask? I love yellow because it’s different, it’s loud, it’s a change in the opposite direction from red, and if your lucky enough to get invited to a prestigious car show, there’s often a class for yellow car entries. To me there’s nothing cooler than observing an entire line of yellow Ferraris, Porches or Lamborghini’s on display. Most of these cars tend to wear it well. Have you ever seen a commercial and just wanted to watch it over and over again? Recently, I was cruising around Reddit and saw this posted up by thesauce25. It is a commercial for Shell gasoline, with the help of Ferrari race cars racing through the city streets. The sounds coming from the cars are incredible.
This rig pulls up at your house.
The Stig is driving.
The tow rig’s passenger door swings open.
You glare at your own reflection in The Stig helmet.
There is a giant sticker on the dashboard that says “It’s you’re lucky day!”
This is not reality.
Snap out of it.
You are still at work, browsing the internet.
Before my short lived pre-teenage career in newspaper delivery, I had no idea that dogs could run 100+ mph. It turns out that every dog in my neighborhood could, and they chased me like my pockets were full of delicious steak. The highlight of every dog’s day was when I tried to sneak up to the front door with my GIANT yellow newspaper bag that might as well have said “attack me” on the side of it. Looking back, I think I spent about 10% of my delivery time actually delivering newspapers, and 90% throttling my BMX away from the fastest dogs in the entire universe. For years this traumatized me into fearing dogs and all other animals for that matter. For all I knew – horses, cows, sheep, Bison, and turtles could chase me down, knock me off my bike and bite my legs. Luckily for me, this all changed in high school. A good friend of mine got a dog that was the biggest, scariest looking, friendliest, most lovable dog you could ever imagine. This dog was the turning point for me & animals. So since cars are my passion and animals are just plain fun, I put together this animal & car – friendly photo collage for your enjoyment. Continue reading Animals & Cars: A Friendly Photo Collage.
