Over on VWVortex, there is never a lack of greatness being posted from people that are far more creative and talented than myself. This video is from one of those posts. From what I have gathered, the creator of the video’s friend (did I lose you there?) bought a Subaru WRX, but that isn’t his only claim to fame. He can also tear up a basketball court like he invented the dang Reebok Pumps. Naturally, the two friends decided to combine these two passions into one cinematic adventure that strangely makes me want to purchase something at the end. I just can’t decide whether I want some classic Air Jordan’s, or a new WRX. In any case, it is amazing what a couple of talented folks can do behind a camera. A simple idea turns into something that could easily be a great TV advertisement for……. something I have yet to decide. Well done!

Have you ever heard somebody proclaim “I’m going to drive this dang car until the wheels fall off!” ? Well, a friend of mine literally did drive at least 1 wheel off, and he captured that very special moment on video for the world to enjoy. Luckily for him and his Subaru, he knew something was horribly amiss before the wheel decided to take an early apex without him. He immediately pulled the heck over before the car could begin its full acrobatic yard sale routine. Extremely Lucky!
Note to self: Always film automotive adventures, because you’ll be glad that you did.

Special Thanks to the unnamed driver for the picture & video!
A friend of mine has a totally sweet Subaru Wagon that really deserves to be appreciated by the masses. You may have seen it once before way back in the day when it was a different color. Luckily for us, the plaid hood survived the color change. The body was not the only thing that changed with this car though over the last year. The last time I bragged about it, the engine bay was chalk full of weakness, sorrow, and sad faces. Not so much anymore… » Continue reading more of this post…
…..or maybe he stuck it too much? Great car, big jump, rough landing no matter how you look at it.

First off, LS series engines are a new obsession of mine. Secondly, I just so happen to own a Subaru Impreza. So, it seems fitting that I post up a video of an LS engine swapped Subaru. The video claims LS-2, but I think it’s actually a cast iron 6.0L LQ4. Be sure to crank your volume way up for this one. It sounds delish.

It would be untrue for me to say that I don’t need a 1970 Subaru Samvar 360 Van in my life in a big way. A fellow Subaru enthusiast passed this eBay listing over to me (Item # 250742053151) because a car soooo spectacular obviously deserves to be put on a pedestal in public view. Just look at how ridiculous it is! I’m not sure if it belongs in the circus, on the grass at the Concourse D’Elegance, doing AWD turbo time trials up Pikes Peak, or hanging the front wheels while burning nitromethane at the drag strip. The possibilities are endless! Could this Samvar actually » Continue reading more of this post…
10/22 Most Expensive Car on eBay.
Vehicle: 1967 Chevy Corvette Coupe 427 # 300479937620
Buy it Now Price: $1,967,000
Owner Says: “This ORIGINAL(L68) 427-400HP MOTOR? …is in “YOUR” car!“
My Thoughts: “It’s in MY CAR?!!! Dammmmn! How come I never noticed a 427 hiding in my car? Where is it? Can you show me? Ok seriously, could this listing be any more confusing? I don’t know if there is a car for sale here, or if he is offering to buy the mysterious engine that I don’t have for 1.9 Million bucks. We are still in reality right? Where am I?”
10/22 Least Expensive Car on eBay.
Vehicle: 1983 Subaru Hatchback # 330486558512
Buy it Now Price: $300
Owner Says: “Head gasket is blown. Interior trashed. Bought it as a little beater for the kids to drive til it dies. Well… It still starts and runs, but I can tell it’s done.“
My Thoughts: “The lack of rust makes me think that maybe this car is not done. Since imaginary engines apparently exist today, let’s all imagine this fine automobile with a WRX engine and awd drivetrain swap. mmmmm. Now who’s going step up and make it happen?”
