Today you may have noticed a fresh new design change to the blog. Don’t worry though, everything is still there and working great! As it turns out, many good blogs are designed this way for a reason. You’ll notice that the meat and potatoes of the blog is now about 70 % of the screen and the widgets on the right are about 30% of the screen. So what benefits are there? Well, I’m glad you asked….
- This design gives us way more room for great pictures, videos, and articles.
- On the right side, there is more room for fancy gadgets! (Got suggestions?)
- The 1A Auto Blog is WAY easier to view on a phone – Go ahead, try it!
- All of the navigation is being funneled into 1 spot on the right
So, as you can see, there was nothing to lose and everything to gain. Love it? Hate it? Got suggestions? I want to hear from you. Let me know what you think!

I can dig it. When I go fullscreen it stretches the article to be 1400px wide and makes it hard to read. I like the menu change though. How about a weekly poll in the right column?
