Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) Just Got Bigger

If you think Kyle Busch was unstoppable before in the Nascar Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS), well you better be prepared to tighten your grip on the wheel because he has hired Two-Time World of Outlaws Late Motel Champ Josh Richards.

Josh Richards has been selected to drive the Joy Mining Machinery Toyota Tundra for a select number of races in 2011. His racing debut has been set to take place at Kentucky Speedway on July 7th.

General manager of KBM Rick Ren who also has an impressive past history as a dirt track racer and also holds the record in NCWTS for most wins as a crew chief has stated that “KBM is in the business of winning races and that Josh Richards has the heart of a champion, and that he was determined to do whatever it takes to be successful”.

I think it’s going to pretty interesting to watch an accomplished driver in the world of dirt track racing to take the wheel of a Camping World Series Truck.

From what I have seen the guys that come from this type of a dirt track background such as Tony Stewart and Clint Bowyer tend to do well while piloting a cup car or truck around the track due to the simple fact that when they get loose coming off of a corner they are used to peddling the throttle to regain control. In the world of dirt track Out Law Racing, driving on the edge of being out-of-control is a way of life.
