Causes of a Bad Blower Motor and Resistor
If the fan is not working with the heat or A/C, there is likely an issue with the blower motor. If the blower motor resistor fails, it’s usually because the blower motor is drawing too much current and burned it out. The blower motor resistor can also cause the blower motor to fail.
