How to Fix O2 Sensor / Air Fuel Ratio Sensor Failure

There are three ignition coils on each side of the engine. Three are on one side facing the front of the van, and three are on the backside underneath the intake.
To replace the three on the front side, steps include removing the bolt, disconnecting the connector, and removing the ignition coil. We recommend replacing the spark plugs at the same time.
To get to the coils on the backside, you’ll have to remove the intake, and we recommend replacing the intake gasket at the same time.
4. EVAP Canister Failure
Symptoms of EVAP Canister Failure
- Check engine light for an EVAP code
Causes of a Defective EVAP Canister
It’s common for a failed EVAP canister to cause an EVAP code on this van. A loose or broken gas cap might be the cause, but it’s likely the EVAP canister.
How to Fix EVAP Canister Failure
The EVAP canister is in front of the fuel tank and it has a cover on top. Before replacing the EVAP canister, check the gas cap for a torn or broken gasket and it’s ability to lock. Replace the gas cap if it is defective
