It’s this week’s “Weekly Rotting Car”!
One day, many days ago, I noticed something bluish WAY down a hill on the side of a road. Naturally, I had to investigate the situation. What I found was truly an awesome automotive specimen. It was an upside down, engineless, rotting, yuckified, and a downright perfect car for this blog. Anybody care to guess what it is?
Hint: It is not a Lamborghini.
I think its a late 50's Fiat for some reason….
I agree with the Platypus…..my first thought was FIAT…….definitely not an American car
Keep guessing! I am about 99% sure I know what it is, and it isn't a Fiat. You are close with the rear-engine & foreign direction though.
It's a Renault Dauphine….That was WAY too easy.
I should have added it's around a '58-60. My Grandparents bought one and my Mom learned to drive in it.
Double > Great call! You nailed it. I will find something a little more obscure next time. 😉

This looks like a picture of it before it got buried. http://www.dragtimes.com/images/8715-1961-Renault…
LOL. Dave I think you may be 100% right. That Dauphine is actually pretty nice looking! I'd drive it!
Definitely a Dauphine. And I'm pretty sure that turquoise was an original color too.
Where is the car located?
