1. Ignition Coil Pack Failure

How to Fix a Bad Ignition Coil Pack
There are three ignition coil packs at the front of vehicle, and there are three underneath the intake manifold. The steps require removing the bolt, electrical connector, and the coil pack. We recommend replacing the spark plugs at the same time.
You will have to remove the intake to access the rear coil packs. You want to replace intake gasket as well. Do not reuse the intake manifold gasket.
2. AC Compressor Clutch Failure

Causes of AC Compressor Clutch Failure
The AC compressor clutch is located near the pulleys. It pumps AC refrigerant through the system. The compressor clutch tends to fail on the 2nd gen Kia Sorento.
How to Fix the AC Compressor Clutch
Normally you have to replace the compressor with the clutch since they come together. You will need to have the refrigerant recovered, replace the compressor, and reinstall refrigerant. We recommend bringing it to a professional.
3. Headlight Bulbs Are Burnt Out

The headlight bulbs are easy to replace on the 2nd gen Sorento. Twist the cap from backside of headlight. You can access bulbs easily on driver side and passenger side. The bulb socket slides out.
Don’t touch the glass since natural oils on the hands can wear it out prematurely. Consider keeping some replacements in the glove box in case they die while driving, or consider upgrading the bulb to an LED version of same bulb.
4. Radio Not Working

Issues with the radio crop up from a glitch in the radio system that is fixable without the help from the dealership.
How to Fix a Radio Glitch in the 2011 to 2015 Kia Sorento
No parts are required to fix this issue and you do not have to bring it to the dealer. Just like a desktop computer, when you have a glitch, the best course of action is to reset the computer. There is no need to reset the radio.
To reset the radio, disconnect the battery. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Let it sit for 15 minutes or more. Reconnect the terminal and the radio should work.
5. Back-Up Camera Failure
